I did not know that my friend 'You Li' actually has an English name like 'Apple' - il ask her next time. Hilarious shit!

Jokes apart, i sense SEVERE insecurity, fear and worry in almost every chinese i talk to these days. Remember they are hit pretty bad by the recession - bags, boots and stuff - 80% (get this - EIGHTY) percent of china's GDP is from exports - compared to India's approx 20 %. Its like my old man says - the sight of one shoe factory making millions of pairs of shoes per day - more than what the whole of South India is making - employing like 5000 people - does not awe him - it SCARES him.

There are already reports of thousands of workers laid off in china, rioting etc. - the chinese face huge challenges ahead.

p.s i wonder what the hell are 'Mummy bags' ? hmm, 'solar bags' too... hmm
