Was chatting with Hari and u know - he and i go a long way back - he was making this big point that he was going to publicize his blog etc. - the merits of using a blog as a, u know, a social tool - to find friends, having discussions and stuff - why would some1 want an anonymous blog OR a blog which no one knows about (like in my case) ?
The answer isnt simple - is it ? [ Eh, Hari ? ]

:))))) Dude.... I can't stop hiding the ear to ear grin am having now....
As I told earlier, my blog is all about me looking back at life when I need someone (which is 'me') to help me figure out what I'm confused about...
It defenitely is a social tool - coz I've lost faith in approaching people with the social skill I have now.
And abt ur anonymous blog - U've got ppl checking from Florida and Cali (am still zipped).... Someone knows abt u dude....
Enjoy the anonymous life of urs ;)
LOL
Im pretty sure characters from florida & California googled for 'frozen boiled rice' or 'Rotting boiled rice' and arrived at the home of the world's leading authority on the subject
'social tool' 'approaching people' - in my case - a bit too far fetched
But i wudnt DREAM of putting up a link to the blog or something on for eg. Orkut and lost the independence i have now on the content
lose*
abhilash: If anyone google's your name, they're going to land up here. How does that make you anonymous?
Nina:
Um, my blog isnt anonymous - u see - but i dont publicize it or display a link anywhere.
And hey, for the heck of it i even googled my name
http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=Abhilash+Narayanan&meta
Sure enough theres a link to my blog and sometimes a link to my Linkedin profile. (Ive done it before too, the results keep changing - but invariably my blogs always there)
What do you do ? All your friends etc. know about ur blog ?
I dont remember how i got to ur blog - maybe i got it off the blogroll for some1 - i dunno
No, not all my friends know of it. I don't think any of the ones that know reads it, even. I had it on my orkut profile for a very brief period. I think that's where you said you got it from. But I don't want anyone googling my name to come to my blog, hence the semi- anonymity. Nina is what I'm called at home :)
