One very significant thing struck me recently.appa and me were discussing this last week. While we go around looking for "mentors" and seeking "inspiration" everywhere, theres a lot of inspiration right at home.
patti - whew, what shud i say. a brahmin widow 40 years of age with 3 kids all alone, shunned by relatives, homeless. had she given up ive wud not be around here typing up all this trash. Spirit, endurance, Hard work , integrity - she was the ultimate testimony to all that. I'll become great one day and maybe write a book on her.
she died 2 years ago, of cancer. she was 93 i think.whew !
appa - That book i was telling about wud have half of it dedicated to appa. his first salary was 225rs. He got his driving license at 35 years of age.Guess what he is doing today ? Talking to me about 100 crores , 400 crores, IIms, Columbia B school, stanford.
What a whiner iam turning out to be ! Iam 20, ive been having the license for 2 years now. My first salary offer is 18,700.
amma, perippa, abhishek, every1 around me is an inspiration, a great person to work with. Why on earth am I worried ?
